YOUR TAXES: TESTING POSITIVE FOR SOCIALISM
The most easily recognizable characteristic of a socialist is a corrupted understanding of your tax dollars. The emphasis should be on ‘your’ tax dollars but instead those are ‘federal’ dollars. There—I’ve succinctly explained the ultimate litmus test for socialism in only two sentences. The key is in recognizing this tendency of ‘liberals’ to mentally mishandle YOUR cash. Once the sense is fully developed, it is shocking how many socialists you will positively identify. Here are some real life practice phrases frequently spoken by true liberals. These all illustrate a positive test result for socialism:

RIFF #1
“We can’t afford a loan to mostly rich people and millionaires (by giving them a tax cut)”
This phrase can be heard on any of your readily available punditry shows. This riff might appear with or without the portion in parenthesis. It appears during discussions about whether or not the so called “Bush Tax Cuts” should be extended. Based upon the language, the socialist clearly views the tax dollars as belonging to the government even BEFORE the tax has been collected. That’s because we are talking about potential tax policy and whether to raise the tax rates for rich folks.
RIFF #1 REBUTTAL
It is inappropriate to use the word loan when referring to the taxpayers’ money. If the government is running at a deficit that simply means the government is spending more money than the voters have agreed to give. What socialists need to do is to convince taxpayers to give the government more money. In essence, the government needs a loan from the taxpayer. This is exactly the opposite of what riff #1 originally says and conveys. The socialist tells you that they can’t afford to loan you—your OWN money while in the process of taking it from you. That is brazen.
