12 FOUND ALIVE!!

Ok, This has been eating at me for the past two days. It relates to the media and their insane eagerness to get the story.The miners who perished in West Virginia and their families were totally disrespected by the media. The media took a rumor and decided to run with it before checking into the validity of it. The next morning, newspapers across the country have front pages with headlines such as, "ALIVE" and "12 Survive mine collapse". Is it just me or did the media totally drop the ball AGAIN? What is the harm in CONFIRMING a story before printing it. If I was a family member of one of the fallen, I would be VERY angry right now. Something needs to be done to get the media under control. What a joke. All I can say is, I am glad World War II happened before we had satellites, TV's in every house, and internet. D-Day would have been a disaster because our media would have leaked something. Bastards!
